Bill Ure – Managing Director

Bill is a dynamic leader, whose entrepreneurial skills of vision and good judgement were essential tools in the formation of the company. He is a risk taker with drive and ambition, but this is always tempered by a clear focus on quality, integrity and budgetary control. Bill's career path of craft apprenticeship, logistics and procurement, together with, recently, an extended managerial role within vocational training has ensured a “hands on” and empathetic approach to the business, staff and clients.

Maureen Ure – Company Secretary / HR Manager

Maureen has extensive experience in the public sector, having been a civil servant for 30 years. She is familiar with employment legislation and Government programmes. She has studied HR to degree level and is familiar with current thinking in recruitment, appraisal and staff motivation

Angela Evans – Finance Director

Angela joined JB Management in 2002 and is responsible for management of the financial accounts. She has over 15 years experience of working in finance and the public sector. Prior to starting with JB Management she has worked with the Inland Revenue and an Independent Financial Advisor. Angela’s financial and commercial awareness have been instrumental in driving the company forward.

Evelyn Kozicki – Centre Manager

Evelyn Kozicki has been a part of the JB Management team since September 2005. Prior to joining JB Management she held various administrative and managerial roles within a textile manufacturing company over a period of 26 years, with knowledge of production, merchandising and sales processes.
Evelyn holds a natural aptitude for organising the team with her genuine interpersonal skills and has further increased her considerable management experience when she obtained her NVQ in ILM Management Level 4 award in 2007.

Kellie Zdanowicz – Operations Manager

Kellie has been with JB Management since April 2006. After achieving an honours degree in Business and Marketing in 2000, she obtained a graduate position with a Recruitment Consultancy in Glasgow. After three years, she decided to change career and secured a position with a training firm in Glasgow.
Kellie has gained a wealth of experience in delivering training and vocational qualifications. Subjects include Business Administration, Management, Learning and Development and Occupational Health and Safety. Kellie's commercial experience and qualifications also enable her to work closely with our Marketing and Personnel departments. Other qualifications include A1, V1, NVQ 3 in Occupational Health and Safety and she is currently undertaking a level 5 NVQ in Learning and Development.

Jim McKay – Systems Quality Manager

Jim began his career as a time served bricklayer. He has over 30 years experience in construction at various levels of management and secured a Bsc in Building Surveying in 1996. Jim has over 6 years experience in lecturing and assessing within construction and management subject areas. Jim’s diverse work experience enables him to deliver work based qualifications in levels 2 – 5. Other qualifications include an NVQ Level 4 in OHS, IOSH Managing Safely, SVQ 5 in Construction Management, A1 and V1 Awards.

Anne Marie Shedden – Office Manager

Anne Marie joined JB Management in January 2011 as Office Manager. Anne Marie has over 30 years experience in office administration and has gained valuable knowledge and understanding in working in a variety of posts, including manufacturing, education and the travel industry. Anne Marie leads a very busy and energetic administration team in supporting JB Management.

Robert Douglas – Assessor/Tutor

Robert has worked in the construction industry for thirty years and has gained considerable experience in management and construction. Starting his career as a joiner Robert, progressed his career and gained advanced craft certificates, an Ordinary National Diploma and gained membership of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Robert now sits on the professional review panel for the CIOB and is also an active committee member for the CIOB West of Scotland. Robert has 2 years direct work experience in delivering S/NVQ qualifications level’s 2-5. Robert’s other qualifications include: A1 Award, PTTLS, OHS Level 4 and he is a member of IOSH.

Mandy Heron – Assessor/Tutor

Mandy has 20 years diverse work experience within construction related industries and is educated to degree level in Construction Management. After graduating, Mandy gained employment with a multi-national contractor as a project planner on commercial and residential projects. Mandy has 2 years work experience in delivering work based SVQ & NVQ qualifications levels 2 - 5 in a variety of organisations and groups. Other qualifications include: NVQ level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety and A1 Award.

Linzie Eaton – Assessor/Tutor

Linzie has 5 years work experience within JB Managements administration team. Linzie has experience of working with the Modern Apprenticeship, Skillseeker and TPA programmes. Linzie has NVQ Level 3’s in Business Administration and Occupational Health and Safety and is currently undertaking her A1 Assessor Award. Linzie has 12 months direct work experience as an assessor.

Willie Reid – Assessor/Tutor

Willie is a materials management and logistics professional with over 30 years experience of managing people and controlling customer focused processes. Willie has 5 years work experience in delivering Modern Apprenticeship programmes. Willie is a highly experienced Manufacturing and Logistics professional and delivers many relevant Health and Safety courses such as manual handling and IOSH. Willie has his A1 Assessor award, Health and Safety NVQ Level 3, is currently working towards his V1 Verifier Award and is a fully qualified RTITB instructor.

Eddie Black – Assessor/Tutor

Eddie has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and has gained considerable experience. Eddie began his career as a Bricklayer and worked up through the ranks gaining advanced craft certificates and an Ordinary National Certificate. His experience is in both commercial and residential projects working for various national and regional companies throughout the UK and Canada. Eddie has also gained valuable experience working as a lecturer at Ayr college assessing and verifying. Eddie holds his A1, A2 and V1 units. At JB Management, Eddie is committed to encouraging others to achieve their full potential and continue their professional development in today's construction industry.

Gerry O'Neil – Assessor/Tutor

Gerry has been with the company since 1997, is a Chartered Member of IOSH and is a Chartered Safety Practitioner. His occupational background consists of many years in the construction industry, followed by around 10 years in local authority health and safety management in the West of Scotland. As well as his health and safety and construction management qualifications, he has gained a Post Graduate Management qualification with Stirling University. His reputation as a long standing, experienced and passionate health and safety practitioner was formally recognised in 2010 when he was invited by PROSKILLS to become a member of a national strategic committee tasked with developing the Sector Qualifications Strategy for Health and Safety and carrying out a review of the National Occupational Standards.

Fraser Barbour – Placement Officer

Fraser has gained valuable experience within sales, marketing and customer service. Fraser began his career as a sales trainee and quickly progressed through the ranks to the post of Sales Controller. Fraser has worked with one of Scotland's largest car and van rental companies in a customer service role. This role allowed Fraser to develop existing and commercial awareness skills.

Nichola Breingan – Administration Assistant

Nichola joined JB Management’s administration team in October 2008 as Administration Assistant, following a change of career direction from her studies in Child Care and working in the retail sector. She has successfully completed an NVQ in Business and Administration Level 3. Nichola is a valued member of the administration team.

Lisa Campbell – PA to Finance Director

Lisa joined JB Management in March 2010 as Modern Apprentice after a career change from the retail industry. She has completed an NVQ in Business and Administration level 3. Lisa now works closely with our Finance Director in her new position as Finance Assistant.

Kirstie Palmer – Administration Assistant

Kirstie holds the position of Administration Assistant within JB Managements busy Administration department. She gained employment as a Modern Apprentice in March 2010 after working with JB Management in a Targeted Pathways to Employment programme. Kirstie is now a valued member of the team and has recently completed her Modern Apprenticeship in Business & Administration. Kirstie also has an HNC in Tourism.

Sara Baldwin – Administration Assistant

After working in retail for 2 years and successfully completing an HND in Administration and Information Technology, Sara joined JB Management in 2010 as Sales and Marketing Assistant. She has successfully completed her NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and is now enjoying her new role as an Administration Assistant.
