Increasingly, though, administration is becoming more and more of a high tech operation, in response to the e-commerce revolution. It is imperative that staff in this "hub of industry" are comfortable with company systems and procedures, and confident in their approach to the multifunctional tasks on their agenda. Achieving the standards of a National Vocational Qualification is an excellent way to focus the mind and consolidate knowledge. "I attended a Targeted Pathways to Apprenticeship course with JB Management that ran over a period of 4 months, the aim of the course was to help young people like myself to gain skills that could be used in the workplace. When an Administration position became available within JB Management, I applied for the post and was lucky enough to be successful. I was then taken through the recruitment process and I always felt welcome and part of the team. I have now been training with JB Management since March 2010. I am currently working towards my Level 3 in Business and Administration and feel valued in my role at JB Management." |
