Level 4 S/NVQ
in Construction Site Management

The Level 4 qualification

is intended for Construction Site Managers who are responsible for allocating work, achieving results within strict timelines and ensuring health and safety policy is followed. On completion, successful candidates can attain the Platinum CSCS card, (Manager level card). This qualification meets the revised CDM regulations and enables candidates to work at pace that suits them through work based assessment. There are no formal entry qualifications required.

Mandatory units

Candidates must complete all 9 of the mandatory units listed below:
1 Assess Work Methods, Resources and Systems to Meet Project Requirements
2 Identify Hazards and Reduce Risks
3 Control Works and Health and Safety Systems to meet Project Requirements
4 Control Project Quality, Progress, Costs and Information
5 Manage the Performance of Teams and Individuals
6 Chair and Participate in Meetings
7 Develop Constructive Working Relationships
8 Enable the Development of Self and Others
9 Manage Materials, Plant and Equipment on Site
