Health and Safety has become a Top Priority for many U.K. companies. Recent successful and costly high profile damages claims have alerted employers to the necessity for more vigilance with regard to safety issues within the workplace, and new legislation recommends that companies with five employees or over have a health and safety competent person within the workforce.

The level 5 qualification
The S/NVQ in Management of Health & Safety Level 5 has been developed for those persons appointed to provide health and safety assistance in organisations with significant hazards and complex risks. This qualification is beneficial to senior managers / Directors. Takes from 16-24 months to complete.

Advantages

2. Recognised route to membership of an official body. The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has recognised Level 4 as the work based route to membership.
