Apprentice Administration Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our company to join the administration team in our busy Ayr office.

The successful candidate will be employed as an Apprentice Administration Assistant under the Modern Apprenticeship scheme and will work towards achieving a SVQ in Business and Administration. 

Duties will include:

  • Reception duties.
  • Typing and document production.
  • Filing, photocopying and scanning documentation.
  • Use of computer packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Provide support to Administration Manager
  • Provide support to Administration Team as required. 

Skills required:

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Team player

The successful candidate will have the following personal qualities:

  • Polite and courteous
  • Smart appearance
  • Confident

Training and support will be given in line with the Modern Apprenticeship Business and Administration standards. This is a Government recognised vacancy which is funded for ages 16-19.
