Construction Assessor/Trainer

JB Management is looking to add to its successful Assessment team due to the organisation's continued growth and diversification. 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to deliver work based qualifications in construction at SCQF levels 6, 7 & 9. 

JB Management is a large training provider specialising in the Modern Apprenticeship programme throughout Scotland.  Our team of occupationally competent Assessors strive to encourage innovative lifelong learning on and off site to learners of all levels.

 

Assessor Duties will Include:

  • Ensuring successful working relationships with learners and employers
  • The Assessment and delivery of underpinning knowledge & performance indicators
  • Delivering Industry Specific Training
  • Ensuring equal opportunities
  • Completing funding body administration
  • Meeting and exceeding KPIs from funders and awarding bodies
  • Attending standardisation meetings
  • Promoting JB Management's services
  • Providing weekly & monthly updates on learner progression

 

Key Skills and Experience Include: 

  • Sound occupationally relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Occupationally relevant qualifications
  • Assessor Award (Desirable, but not essential)
  • Previous experience in working to KPIs
  • A clean & current driving license
  • Construction Site Management experience
