Q What is a Modern Apprenticeship?

A. MAs are an option that offer individuals employment from day one, with government funding towards a recognised qualification (NVQ at level 3 or above). They are designed by industry to meet the growing demand for a more highly skilled workforce. Core skills/Key skills must be demonstrated. Plus other enhancements that meet the needs of the company, e.g. Forklift Training, First Aid Training.
