Ben Lomond Climb in Aid of CLIC Sargent

We organised a sponsored mountain climb up Ben Lomond and managed to raise £3299 for Clic Sargent.

The ten members of staff; Angela Evans, Kellie Zdanowicz, Peter McLean, James Geddes, George Fry, Claire Gilliland, Kirstie Palmer, Sam Lambert, Evelyn Kozicki and Lenny Kozicki (not to forgeting Rex the dog) climbed Ben Lomond on Saturday 25th May.

We couldn't have picked a better day, the sun was shining but it wasn't too hot. It took them 6 hours to complete, they all had sunburnt faces and blistered toes but it was all worth it to see the view from the top and raise an amazing amount of £3299 for CLIC Sargent. The real beneficiaries of all the efforts are those children and their families who are suffering in the worst possible way. We all wish them well, and are happy if in some small way we can contribute to making life a little more bearable for them.

"We are very proud of team JB who broke through the pain barrier to achieve their goal. This was a brilliant team effort with Angela and her climbing colleagues being encouraged and sponsored by the rest of the staff as well as relatives, friends and business associates. A big thank you to all who supported this venture in any way. We are very pleased to be able to donate the proceeds to such a worthy cause as CLIC Sargent" Bill Ure, Managing Director.
