Chivas Brothers honours graduates at Presentation Ceremony

Earlier this month, Chivas Brothers, the global leader in luxury Scotch whisky celebrated the success of 16 of their employees achieving various SVQ qualifications as part of the Modern Apprenticeship programme, funded by Skills Development Scotland.  

Graduating with an SVQ Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage were Scott McDonagh, Janice Warren and John McEwan based at Paisley, as well as George Kennedy and Bernadette Casey based at Kilmalid.

Meanwhile Paisley employees Derek Wardrop, John Cairney, Neil Syme, Todd Colclough, Karen Lawson, Ross Young, Heather Reilly and Mark Shaw; and Kilmalid employees Gary Ross and Alan Ferrie; all achieved an SVQ Level 3 in Logistics Operations.

Fiona Gray of Paisley graduated with an SVQ Level 4 in Supply Chain Management.

Margaret McCombe, Employee Development Trainer at Chivas Brothers thanked assessor John McKenna from JB Management for guiding the candidates to completion of their qualifications, and congratulated all the graduates on their achievements.
