Targeted Pathways to Apprenticeship (TPA)
Develop your future workforce with the Targeted Pathways to Apprenticeship Programme from Skills Development Scotland
Objectives of the Programme:
- Increase the employment skills of school leavers and assist them in gaining work experience within an office environment
- Place 16-19 year old Business and Administration assistants into Ayrshire based companies
TPA Process:
- Applicants have a general level education and are referred by the Careers Scotland
- Applicants are interviewed by JB Management
- Placement companies will offer work experience for a period of 13 weeks
- Working week will be 4 days
- JB Management will host a monthly training day
- JB Management will pay the young person £55 per week and Placement company will pay £20 per week
- The trainee pays the 1st £3 of travel expenses and remainder to be arranged by JB Management
- JB Management administers the SDS paperwork for the candidate
- Placement company supplies a weekly review on the trainee
