With the advent of new technology, distribution, warehousing operations has become, in many instances, a sophisticated, high tech operation requiring a highly trained staff in order to maximise efficiency. Company accountants now recognise that this is the area where profit is made or lost.
Warehousing and Storage - Level 2 SVQ & NVQ
An entry level qualification, aimed at new starts, young people starting in a warehouse/stores role. This qualification should take around 6-9 months to complete.
Logistics Operations Management - Level 3 SVQ & NVQ
Aimed at Team Leader / Supervisor level or people identified with the potential to progress within the organisation. This qualification should take around 6-12 months to complete.
